The team at Queenwaves Luxury Hair have spent years hunting down the best hair care regimes, and we've come across some amazing products along the way. We've compiled some of our favourite methods to help you achieve beautiful, healthy hair, with a hair care collection coming soon!
BRUSHING AND CLEANSING
For shiny, healthy hair, regular cleansing and brushing is essential. To start with, we recommend using a soft bristle brush to work your way through the hair, ends upwards, to avoid snagging. On wash days, follow this with a warm water soak and root massage with a sulphate-free shampoo, using small circles to stimulate the scalp whilst paying close attention to the bond area. When it comes to the mid-length and ends of your natural hair and extensions, these will be naturally cleansed during the rinsing process, so refrain from rubbing or tugging at these.
CONDITION AND STYLE
Conditioning is the ultimate way to restore moisture and shine, and a great follow-up after the cleanse. Unlike the shampoo stage where it's all about the roots, you'll need to pay more attention to the middle and ends of the hair, gently coating each strand and ensuring the product is distributed evenly away from the scalp area. From here, sit back and allow the conditioner to penetrate the hair for up to 10 minutes before rinsing and allowing the hair to dry naturally.

Should you wish to style your hair after, be sure to use a good quality heat protectant, ideally one that's made for your hair type. To avoid build-up, be sure to use any creams, serums and other products sparingly.
